If you're looking for a fun party game with a lot of friends, this is fine. If you're solo and trying to play in public lobbies, this game is a nightmare. (1). Anti-Cheat is abysmal / non-existent. It does nothing to stop the continuous onslaught of cheaters getting into lobbies and purposefully breaking the game to where people are forced to leave because they're locked into a game that never ends. On top of this the game punishes YOU for leaving "intentionally" because of something someone else did. This ranges from 2-5 minutes of not being able to join new lobbies, to upwards of 8+ hours in some cases. (2). Search parameters mean nothing. People can change the settings, map, imposter, etc. when you join. I've had maps switch from Skeld / Polus to Airship the moment after I've joined. (3). Chat issues. The sheer ammount of people coming into lobbies whining to be imposter, saying overly sexual things, legitimately just being toxix and the host doesn't kick them out, is insane. You can't turn the chat off either so you're just subjected to seeing it pop up every. single. time if you're on free chat. I'd turn it to the other version but it makes discussions impossible. (4). Banned from public lobbies for ludicrus reasonings. Someone wants your color? Banned. Someone else is being extremely toxic and you ask them to stop? Banned. Ask the host to stop setting the lobby from public to private in order to set themselves as imposter? Banned. (5). Can't see host names when joining lobbies. I've rejoined the same lobby 5+ times trying to find a different game because the amount of players kept updating and I'd end up clicking into it again. (6). Bugged achievements. Some achievements don't unlock when they're supposed to because the stats counter was not reset when achievements were added to the game. The game does not count anything earned prior to achievements being added despite the fact that it should and is possible to award them (many games add achievements and if you completed what was required, they'll auto proc upon booting). People have gone well above 500 tasks completed and still not unlocked the achievement.
We made it through the COVID-19 pandemic with this one. Easy to pick up, fun with friends, and always capable of creating hilarious moments. Don't be sus.
pretty good game, although it lacks on gamemodes and maps but i still really like the concept
