Ape Out is a 2019 beat 'em up game developed by Gabe Cuzzillo and published by Devolver Digital. Financed by the Indie Fund, it was produced when Cuzzillo attended game development classes at New York University. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on February 28, 2019, and has garnered a positive reception.

Runs well on modern hardware.
top down. face up. i dont care. just give me more, i want (to) Ape Out. great soundtrack. great visuals. there are games from the long long time agos(i know 2019 isnt that old but in terms of gaming years it feels like it) that you are glad you came across and this is one of them. i told all my friends i hope you know that. thanks for this beautiful game.
This game makes you realize why they killed Harambe. Jokes aside, this game's really fun. Amazing audio design, soundtrack, art, rumble, and gameplay. It gets surprisingly hard, especially those
flamethrower
mfs.
Enjoyed this one a lot......way more than I thought I would. Was a lot of fun to play through the various levels (and SUPER frustrating at times.....especially the later levels). It was hard to see what was coming ahead at times, and you'd sometimes walk into a group of baddies and certain death.....which was annoying at the end of a long run, and nothing to be done. But that was part of the challenge / charm I guess. I played to the end and had to finish it all. I really liked it, and would definitely recommend. The soundtrack was GREAT, and worked really well for this kind of game. Chef's kiss 😘
