Before Your Eyes is a 2021 adventure game developed by GoodbyeWorld Games and published by Skybound Games. It was released on Microsoft Windows on 8 April 2021, followed by a port for macOS in September of the same year. Ports for Android and iOS were released in July 2022. The game is noted for its use of eye-tracking technology in its story telling, being a full imagining of the team's previous project Close Your, which was funded through a Kickstarter campaign.

this game sucked so much. 2nd half was unplayable because its too blurry and constantly raining, i couldnt see anything and my allergies started acting up.
I cried throughout the entire gameplay, it was incredible
“So when he knew he was going to go, he was okay, because he’d already lived a great life a full life.” Started off as a bit of fun with the eye-tracking gimmick, but ended up being an emotional gut punch of the highest order. It’s a short narrative game where you follow Benny's life, mainly within a single room, which severely limits what you can see and hear, you control the game with your eyes, and blinking moves the story forward. You can choose to play with mouse instead of a webcam, but in my opinion, it really detracts from the experience as the eye tracking is essential to the gameplay, as it feels way less emotional. Just get a few tissues ready.
