Berry Bury Berry

The last time I managed to get myself to seriously sit down and play a game for SIX hours straight, was when Cyberpunk 2077 released. Since then, I have not been able to get fixated on one game for any extended period of time in one day. Berry Bury Berry held me hostage and I developed the hardest case of Stockholm syndrome possible, because I almost was not able to get myself to stop playing this game. This tickles a part of my brain that I honestly didn't even know I had and it helped me rediscover the ability to stop thinking about anything in my life for a moment and be able to enjoy a game for hours simply because it was fun. In mountains of fruit and riches beyond comprehension, I found a passion I had lost for videogames a long time ago.

Wonderful game- satisfies the incremental itch, avoiding common pitfalls that turns things tedious/grindy. The only downside for me is that it gave me major tetris syndrome- I started looking at random cars/shelves/etc IRL and thinking on how best to position the hole to absorb them. Even watching an emotional drama scene set around a dining room table, I could only think "you all need to sit further apart, the hole could swallow all of you in one pass"
