Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology. The story is based on Journey to the West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I'm in love with the combat style, I'm in love with the parry system, I'm in love with the intimacy toward the mythology and subtle but deep lore to even the smallest of characters, I'm in love with the return of rivals/gauntlet update, I'm in love with it all. If only there was a dlc.
Ran great (Linux), looks fantastic. Some of the huge things were pretty epic (giant boses, being giant in one part). Some of the boses literally took me a few hours of trying.. Especially the 'secret' boss but after beating him it was pretty epic. I guess this is down as a Souls-like game but I wouldn't call it as such. It does miss out the fundamental part of risk/loss. You're never really risking or losing anything which is just fine but I feel that's a fundamental part of a souls-like game. As i say though, that's fine and may be a positive for people. Didn't like the DRM, it was always phoning home and caused me a lot of hassle initially.
