One of the greatest point and click adventures from the 90:s that was not made by Lucasarts. Remade to look and sound even better. Yes some of the puzzles are the typical moon logic from the era, in fact this game has one that's infamous as beeing one of the hardest puzzles in point and click history, but there are hints availible. Played this years age (or was it decades... no that can't be) and remembered some but not all of the story. Great game. Revolution are currently working on not only a "Reforged" version of the second game, but also a entirly new chapter. Definitly looking forward to that. There is also a chapter selection if you missed achievements, but be aware that there is one that requires a specific action with every single character you speak to in the game. It's not hard to get, if you remember to ask everyone you can speak to about one item.
"Paris in the fall, the last months of the year, at the end of the millennium. The city holds many memories for me, of cafés, of music, of love... and of death."
I really do love this game. I am an early 90s baby, and I remember playing this on my dad's Dell laptop back in the day! The fact that I could switch between updated graphics and the original look, gave me a hit of nostalgia that brought back so many happy memories. The gameplay is brilliant, a good bit of comedy (some I didn't remember because it's aimed at adults), and just the best point and click I have ever played. I'm trying to get my daughter's into the broken sword saga! It's a must play for any point and click/adventure game enthuasiasts. Puzzles are good, not too hard. If you want to complete all achievements I would highly advise to go through the game alongside the achievement guides :)
