I original brought this back in December '97 or '98 for the PC. It's was the US version called the Circle of Blood. And believe it or not, it stills install and works fine on Win 10 without issues. I must of played a couple of dozen times before the year 2000. Now since then I got the game on GBA, Wii, DS, PS1, iPhone/iPad, GoG, Switch and Steam. Basically any platform it was released on. I backed this version on Kickstarter and was thrilled when it finally released. The improvement in the art style and animation are top-notch for a small team. Sound and music as uncompressed a cleaned up, as best as possible in some spots. The story follows American tourist George Stobbart, along with Nico, as they get caught up in a centuries old war between the Knight Templar and the Hassassins, to stop the Knight Templar from gaining the power of The Broken Sword and controlling mankind (sounds familiar doesn't it). This wouldn't have parkouring the roofs or taking the Leap of Faith. No, this is just a peaceful tour of Europe, find the clues and piecing them together.
Top 3 Point & Click game in the history of PC games ! i played the game in the 90's, so the forged version was a unforgettable exprince for me. The art is mesmorising, and the option to look how the game was originaly is a perfect option for nostalgic feelings (Tab for 90's version).
I played the original game back back in 1996 - this reforged game not only captures the essence of the original game, but further improves it. The puzzles are always challenging, but once you start playing the game, the time just flies by as you get engrossed into solving the mystery. Good value for money & a game you feel gives good value for money too.
