Call of Duty is a 2003 first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the first installment in the Call of Duty franchise, released on October 29, 2003, for Microsoft Windows. The game simulates infantry and combined arms warfare of World War II using a modified version of the id Tech 3 engine. Much of its theme and gameplay is similar to the Medal of Honor series; however, Call of Duty showcases multiple viewpoints staged in the American, British, and Soviet campaigns of World War II in Europe.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I was actually surprised by how refreshing this game is to play. It has a shockingly ambient atmosphere and simple but enjoyable gameplay. Also, fun fact: I s**t you not, this game is how I found out we were allied with Russia during World War 1 and 2...
This is the Original Call Of Duty 2003 title which real bullets impact on your health and to recover you need to gather med kits around the map, level. The game that started it all the Call Of Duty franchise and it runs fine on brand new modern hardware smooth and graphics on ultra. Its difficult on normal settings but I managed to beat it just fine. Amazing legacy title and I highly recommend it Call Of Duty 2003. It has come with a full package including single player and multi player as well this original first title that started it all. After you play this one I recommend you to go to the expansion pack United Offensive as well which brings more missions and gameplay too added to the standard formula. This is the game that give realistic experience back then and it still does today runs great on modern updated hardware and software everything works fine on modern up to date operating systems. I recommend this one is the beloved original Call Of Duty 2003 title and I have only good things to say about it. Challenging but manageable. Very fun experience with three campaigns, story narratives of American, British, and Soviet perspectives each with corresponded missions. A working and proven formula that has lasted decades and a legacy too and continues on to impact the modern games as well.
It was all good and historical until everything went downhill with this franchise
