Call of Duty 2 is a 2005 first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision in most regions of the world. It is the second installment of the Call of Duty series. Announced by Activision on April 7, 2005, the game was released for Microsoft Windows on October 25, 2005, and as a launch title for the Xbox 360 on November 22, 2005. Other versions were eventually released for OS X, mobile phones, and Pocket PCs.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Arguably the best Call of Duty of the OG trilogy and introduced the self-healing mechanic the franchise carries even today and the story was well done, heard multiplayer was a blast as well
An amazing shooter - playing on the hardest difficulty is the intended way to play. It feels so grounded, if Activision made another game like this I'd buy it no doubt. A real Gem.
I remember when this game was a Launch title on the Xbox 360 back in 2005. I was blown away by it's visuals back then now that I am able to experience this game on PC I am fully able to understand how big of a deal this game was back in 2005.
