Call of Duty: World at War is a 2008 first-person shooter game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It is the fifth main installment of the Call of Duty series and is the fourth entry in the series to be set during World War II. The game was announced by Activision in June 2008 and was released in November 2008, for PlayStation 3, Windows, Xbox 360, and Wii. Runs well on modern hardware.

BUY THIS GAME IF ONLY YOU WANT TO PLAY SINGLEPLAYER OR SOLO ZOMBIES the multiplayer portion of the game isn't functioning UNLESS you've already made an account before WaW ran out of CD space, so new players cannot play any form of multiplayer This game was my childhood, I'd come home from primary school and load it up right away and play Der Riese for 7 hours straight, so I really enjoyed playing it thus far and cant wait to play more
First playthrough review time. Call of Duty: World at War stands out from other games in the series because it shows parts of the war that had not been explored before and offers a mix of different combat experiences. I first played this game back in 2015, though not on Steam. The campaign flows through several missions in order, and the game also introduces the Zombies mode for extra gameplay. The gameplay is a first-person shooter with linear maps and cinematic action. Players use different weapons and face enemies who fight in different ways depending on the situation. There are also vehicle missions and other challenges that add some variety. The music fits the action and helps create the right atmosphere. Overall, World at War is a solid World War II shooter with a varied campaign that can be played alone or with friends. The Zombies mode adds extra content, and the combination of campaign, gameplay variety, and music makes it a strong entry in the series. Even though it is an older game, it is still very expensive on sale because Activision rarely drops the price, so there is not much choice if you want it.
Online doesnt work if you buy the game nowadays. You cant do co-op campaign with your homie or even do zombies or anything. So 0/10 for multiplayer The STORY now though... It's the best call of duty to ever be made. The OG, The classic, You just cant NOT play this story.
