Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a 2013 Western-themed first-person shooter for PlayStation 3, Windows, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Techland and originally published by Ubisoft, it was released in May 2013 for PlayStation 3, Windows and Xbox 360. The Switch port was released in December 2019. It is the fourth game in the Call of Juarez series, although narratively, it is unrelated to the three previous titles.

Runs well on modern hardware.
100% Achievement Review #01
● Estimated difficulty: 7/10 ● Approximate amount of time to 100%: 16-20 hours ● Online achievements: no ● Number of missable achievements: 2 mutually exclusive achievements for the ending + some collectibles, there is a level select via the recollections mode. ● Difficulty based achievements: yes, you need to complete the game on True West difficulty ● Minimum playthroughs: 2, True West difficulty only unlocks after you beat the game once + you also need to unlock all skills which you cannot in a single playthrough ● DLC required: no ● Glitched achievements: none Notes While you only need to play the campaign twice there are also achievements for the duel and arcade modes, which will require a few more run throughs. These are short however you will be replaying them a few times each. The arcade mode for me was not super difficulty, the key thing is to keep your combo up, mostly by using the dead eye esque mechanic when you need to run from one enemy to another to save time. By playing each level a couple of times you will learn enemy placements and it is not too difficulty after that. The duel mode is annoying, like many others I do not like the duel mechanic and find it annoying at best. It took me about 2-3 hours to get it done with, the few tips besides just doing it over and over I can give you is to always dodge, as soon as the heartbeat sound starts playing start focusing on the enemy hands, and increase your mouse sensitivity. Thus the difficulty comes mostly from the duel mode as the rest (True West difficulty and arcade mode) have frequent checkpoints or are bite sized.
Fun short game. Really like how the story was told, in 3rd person(?) while we play. The guns were great, not many options though but each have their own function. I like the art style, reminds me of Borderline but instead of cartoony, its closer of a realistic comic book.
Highly recommended, good story good plot twist although you could see it gameplay is phenomenal, and you can finish it under 6 hours
