Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Sad to admit that only recently I heard of this game. This game is a diamond. Everything about it is so fun, I finished the first 5 episodes in one sitting. The visuals are great, no excessive HUD displays or unnecessary stuff on screen, really love the art style and the environment. The music is good and the story was well written. Wish there were more games like this, 10/10 highly recommended even in 2026.

Call Of Juarez is just a really fun Western shooter. Compared to the original, it’s much more focused on fast-paced action, with satisfying gunfights, cool set pieces, and plenty of over-the-top moments. The storytelling is probably my favorite part. The narrator keeps changing his story, exaggerating everything, and sometimes even changing what’s happening around you. It leads to some genuinely funny moments and gives the game a lot of personality. It might not have the same slower Western feel as the original, but Gunslinger is still a really good time. It’s short, entertaining, and knows exactly what kind of game it wants to be.
