I love it. Love everything about it. It just perfectly itches my itch to run border patrol and deport poor people fleeing from war.

downloaded Contraband Police finally got a job checking passports and looking for illegal stuff thought it would be easy then a guy has ONE missing document and suddenly im questioning his entire family history “sir, your passport expired 2 days ago” bro starts sweating like i just caught him with 14 kilos of something spent 10 minutes checking one car found nothing gave him a fine anyway because something felt suspicious 10/10 would abuse my imaginary police authority again

this should be a lazy unity asset flip of papers please but it really isn't, the open world actually serves a purpose and has stuff for you to discover and find. the inspection stuff is enjoyable but not too complicated, and improving your workpost gives you a reason to grind away. combat in this game is simplistic but serves its job well enough in breaking up the usual gameplay, though you can turn it down or off completely if you want to focus on the inspection stuff. the story is the weakest part, fairly straight forward "do you help the good guy rebels or the obviously evil totalitarian state" narrative. nothing as complicated as papers please, but then again the story isn't really the focus.
