Contraband Police is a video game developed by Crazy Rocks Studios and published by PlayWay, released in March 2023 for Microsoft Windows. Two years prior a demo version, called Contraband Police: Prologue was published. The game was also released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 7 November 2025.
Runs well on modern hardware.

amazing game, but do not turn on volumetric lighting unless you want your pc to turn into a space heater. 80C and 96% util on a 5090 is absolutely absurd.
Highly immersive and has a satisfying gameplay loop, a true boon for the now established Soviet Border Inspector genre (sole other member is Papers, Please.) Even though the game is GPU heavy it still runs on ultra on my 10 year old card.
Do you like Paper's please? What if it were in first person and you could walk around the station? That's Contraband Police. And being that Paper's please is one of my favorite games, Contraband Police is right up there with it now. I put a decent amount of time into the game and enjoyed all of it, so I would certainly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing a game where you do someone's job as much as I do.
