CS 1.6 was one of the last games where your nickname meant more than your rank. There were no profiles to flex, no skins to show off, no matchmaking badge beside your name just reputation. If you were good, people remembered you. If you were toxic, everyone knew. And if you disappeared for a few months, someone would still ask in server chat: “Anyone know where that guy went?” That era felt less like a game… and more like a real underground community.
This game changed my life for sure! it deserves a tattoo on my butt.
What can i say guys... we all grew up with this game. It's really sad to see what Counter Strike became today - pity Valve went into the money way.
