Counter-Strike: Source is a tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Valve and Turtle Rock Studios. Released in October 2004 for Windows, it is a remake of Counter-Strike (2000) using the Source game engine. As in the original, Counter-Strike: Source pits a team of counter-terrorists against a team of terrorists in a series of rounds. Each round is won either by completing an objective or by eliminating all members of the enemy team. The game was initially bundled with all retail and digital copies of Half-Life 2, before being released standalone.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Counter-Strike: Source is one of those games that's still fun no matter how old it gets. The Source engine gives it a lot of charm, and the huge amount of mods, custom maps, and community servers means there's always something different to play. I also appreciate the little details, like voice chat changing based on where players are, which makes the game feel more alive. And unlike a lot of modern shooters, there are no paid skins, battle passes, or cosmetic shops everywhere—it's just a solid game that's all about having fun.
I highly recommend cs:s its a simple cs game without cs:go case opening or paying for skins one bad thing some servers take a while to load 10/10 though
Great CS, definitely better than CS2, better aim, better gameplay, better everything. CS:GO will be remembered in our hearts. CS Source is a great throwback.
