As a fan of word-based games and dungeon crawlers I didn't expect to be so blown away by the delightfully dreadful characters and brilliant use of wordplay to experience the game world. Outside of the gameplay, the voice acting was excellent and having the Cryptmaster react to most words was hilarious. I'd say my only nitpick (which is a personal pet peeve) is that UI elements don't loop around which was annoying when going through the list of cards for Whatever and even when choosing Whatever's letters.
This game is good. Like, unfairly good. The mechanics, worldbuilding, and puzzles all tie together beautifully and seamlessly. The writing is excellent. It's like if you crossed Planescape: Torment with Blue Prince. The aesthetics are flawless. The only weak point is that there's no area map and the minimap rotates with you, so it can be hard to keep track of where you haven't been yet, which is a shame because you don't want to miss anything. Your entire adventuring party can marry a giant Frog King. It might be the best game ever, actually.
A unique dungeon crawler puzzle game where you have to type out your answers to questions/riddles, and your attacks in combat. It is maybe a little too long and the combat was getting a bit repetitive toward the end (though you can avoid fighting most enemies), but it was still a good time. The gimmick card game you can play against NPCs was fun too.
