Overall it is a really fun game, don't get me wrong! The only issue I have is the overlap of stories, if you don't complete them 'right' you get locked out of a relationship at all with some characters. Such as florence and celia. I'm stuck in a dialogue loop because I didn't do Stella's storyline 'correctly' so now I cannot complete the game unless I restart, it really takes the fun out when I have to look at a guide to make sure it doesn't happen with anyone else. Really wish there was still a way to complete the game without doing very specific steps.
I was hesitant about this game because I thought it would be just a showcase of voice acting with very limited gameplay. But I liked the art and concept, so I gave in and bought it anyway. Turns out, it was just a showcase of (admittedly very good) voice acting with VERY limited gameplay. Many of the characters are fun, but getting attached will just leave you disappointed with their truncated storylines. It's not a badly made game, and obviously a lot of effort and love went into it. I guess it's just not really my thing.
This game is funny AF, the only thing that grinds my gears is that the "viking" dude says he's Norwegian but sounds like a damned Swede lmfao The VA's are top notch, the dialogue is hilarious, the characters are well written and designed (except the viking, as a Norwegian I must object to the Swedish-esque accent). Top notch game.
