Dave the Diver

[b]Short review:[/b] BUY IT!! LOVE IT! Dave the Diver actually encouraged me to get a job at a sushi restaurant. And I mentioned it in my interview. [b]Still short but longer review:[/b] Dave the Diver will bring a smile to your face every time you launch it. It is a masterfully made game that most importantly- doesn’t take itself too seriously. And this is actually its strong point. You’ll be flying through the story when all of a sudden, you’re hit with the most odd, hilarious cutscene or mini game. And chapter by chapter, it just keeps getting better. For most of these game features or “mini games”, you can play just one of them (and almost ignore the other parts of the story) and still have a great time. Do you love the restaurant aspect? [spoiler]Start a fish farm and[/spoiler] just run the restaurant. Or just fish, or take photos, or clean the ocean floor, or etc. etc. The characters are lovable, and the environment and ambience is just fantastic. I found the exploration and mental mapping of the ocean difficult at times, but this was one of the first single player games I’ve ever played, and it is my first 100%. The hours flew by. Would recommend this game to anyone with a pulse - due to its wide appeal through a wildly large catalog of play styles. And at the price, it is a no brainer. I hope you enjoy.

Amazing game, love everything about it and I can't wait for the new DLC!

The story is great. The gameplay is very engaging. I really regret not playing it sooner.
