Simple premise. Simple mechanics. A billion things can happen, each with a unique flavor, attitude, and spark of insanity. I've gotten years out of this game. Fun alone, fun at parties, easy to teach, and a sky-high skill ceiling that only shows up for the people who are looking to max out their time investment. It's been complete for years and they still keep working on it and adding to it because it's clear that they're having as much fun with it as we are. I. Love. This. Game.
This game is so awesome! A very cool roguelike that is very similar to Oregon Trail and Super Amazing Wagon Adventure but with a zombie twist :)
This game is ten(10) years old, and to this day still getting major content updates. My 120 hours were all from 2016 to 2017, it was already that addictive of a game back then, the first roguelite i had ever played so much that i could consistently win. (Focus on gas, get a chainsaw and an automatic sidearm and win every run.) The best thing about this game is that you can build your roster of your own characters, all with their own traits and quirks, and then randomly meet them out on the road. Then slowly unlock even more traits and quirks so you can make even more different characters. You can populate the entire game with your own characters (or Mario & Luigi), and go on a zombie road trip to Canada with them. Brilliant mix of Oregon trail and zombie arcade survival, i can't wait to pick it up again and enjoy the 8 years worth of new content that I've missed.
