Detroit: Become Human is a 2018 adventure game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation 4 in May 2018. Quantic Dream released a port for Windows under license from Sony in December 2019. The plot follows three androids: Kara, who escapes her owner to explore her newfound sentience and protect a young girl; Connor, whose job is to hunt down sentient androids; and Markus, who starts out as a caretaker for an elderly man but later devotes himself to releasing other androids from servitude. The player's choices affect the course and outcome of the story.

Runs well on modern hardware.
Detroit: Become Human: A Masterpiece of Choice and Consequence

"This might be one of my longest review cause the game has leave a heavy impact on me"
Incroiyable!!! I don't event know how to describe this, more like an emotional breakdown. it isn't just a game; it's like an extremely ambitious interactive film where every choice you make leaves significant consequences. You gonna run through "an emotional roller coaster": + Tension and Pressure: Its not about chossing A or B but it about saving one person but someone else dies or trust someone then got betrayed + Empathy and Attachment: You're not only controlling the character but start actually caring whether they survive. When they die because of your decision, it doesn’t feel like failure. It feels personal. + Regret and Second-Guessing" One single bad choice it gonna make you regret and makes you live with them for rest of the game. + Moral Reflection: Sometime the game gonna make u to stop and actual think about ur choice (which not all games can do.) + Satisfaction (or Emotional Damage): Yep, you gonna turn into a reluctant moral decision-maker whether you like it or not. U got good ending - It feels earned, like you actually did something right OR got a bad one - It’s not just sad, it feels like you’re responsible. Story: When philosophy meets Sci-Fi The game masterfully explores the "Uncanny Valley" and poses the ultimate question: At what point does an artificial intelligence become a living soul? Gameplay: The Butterfly Effect Focus on QTE (Quick-Time Tvents) and exploration. The big selling point is its deep branching choice system. You can absolutely wreck entire character arcs because of one “harmless” decision. Graphics: Excellent, especially facial animations. Soundtrack: Each Character has a unique musical score. My favorite is Connor's one Now let jump into the positive and the negative points: The Pawsitive + Choices actually matter, multiple endings + Memorable characters (Connor basically carries half the experience) + Strong cinematic presentation The négatif - Writing can be heavy-handed - Replays may reveal the underlying structure too clearly Rate: 9.5/10

[th] Criteria [/th] [th] Rating [/th]

Graphics 10/10

Gameplay 8/10

Story 10/10

Impact 10/10

Replayability High

Playtime: ~18 hours (First story run) In overall: Is it worth it? Absolutely. Detroit: Become Human is a must-play for fans of narrative-driven games. It is a beautiful, stressful, and thought-provoking journey. While the gameplay is more "watching and deciding" than "running and gunning," the emotional payoff is immense. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Just Finished Platinum the game after 44 hours, what a journey! I have no word to describe this game, such a masterpiece in every compartment, i would like to play more games like this, expecially the action/combat parts QTE that i like a lot and gives me a lot of adrenaline, Vote 10/10 . Such a pain for platinum cause you can't skip scene and you have to do chapters all over again, i don't mind different outcomes, but if it is the same outcome just to get a magazine that's a pain, but anyways im so glad to have played this game, i needed to play another game with Good story after Death stranding 2 , and i had like gamer block and this was the one that i was looking for. GG
For me, Detroit: Become Human stands at the very top of the decision-based / choice-driven genre. In terms of how decisions actually impact the story and outcomes, I don’t think there is anything better out there. The story is extremely unique and powerful, especially with the moral questions it raises throughout the game. It constantly makes you think about your choices and their consequences, which is exactly what this genre is all about. The three main characters are all written in a very interesting and distinct way. Each of them has their own perspective, motivation, and emotional depth, which makes switching between them feel fresh and engaging every time. Even though there weren’t a huge number of shocking plot twists, the game still managed to stay exciting and immersive from start to finish. Overall, it’s an absolute must-play and a real gem in gaming. Everyone who enjoys story-driven games should experience it at least once. Unfortunately, I did run into a few crashes and bugs during my playthrough. Also, sometimes it felt like my character said something slightly different than what I expected based on the dialogue choices, which was a bit confusing and occasionally frustrating. But despite those issues, the strengths of the game easily outweigh the negatives. 8.7 / 10
