Runs well on modern hardware.

Capcom’s stylish hack-and-slash game is exactly that, a fun action game that involves slaying demons in the coolest way possible. The base game features three playable characters, each with their own move sets that you can upgrade with red crystals you collect during the game. The story mode is set up in a classic arcade style where each mission is essentially a new level and you will get to try each of the characters by the halfway point. The main story is pretty short but you unlock a lot after your first run to incentivize playing more, plus the game is easy to pick up definitely hard to master especially if you are trying to string together combos for the S ranks. This is definitely a gameplay first, story second game as the dialogue can be cheesy at times but not bad by any means. The presentation is great; cutscenes, character designs, environments and gameplay fluidity all look amazing. In conclusion the story may be short and simple, but all the gameplay here is top notch.
devil may cry 5 is about killing demons but the main goal is to... look cool and humiliate them with stylish while doing that. the game judges how cool and stylish you are based on your combo
