Dorfromantik is a 2022 strategy puzzle video game developed and published by Toukana Interactive. In it, the player places a series of hexagonal tiles containing elements of a pastoral environment to create a landscape. They earn points and additional tiles by connecting like sides of the tiles together, closing off fields, forests, and villages, and completing quests to make areas of contiguous regions. An additional creative mode allows the player to create their own landscapes.

Runs well on modern hardware.

May appeal to some, but I found it too boring. Main issue is that the puzzle aspect is not challenging enough. The random "quests" lack any urgency or weight. Completing them provides no tangible reward. Failing them seems to have zero impact on anything. The whole experience just feels really empty, pointless, and repetitive, sorry.
Such a chill and beautiful game. I really love the minimalist design and the whole aesthetic — it just looks so clean. It’s incredibly addictive too; you honestly don’t even notice the time passing while you’re playing. Definitely recommend if you need something to zone out with!
It's like a chill version of the "just one more turn" effect of Civilization. Except in this case it's, "Just one more tile!" This not the type of game I typically return to. Yet I do. The music really elevates the entire experience.
