Dust: An Elysian Tail

Great gameplay with beautiful art and excellent music. The whole thing is dripping with passion, from the animations to the voice acting to the world building, it feels like someone had a dream that they wanted to bring to life with this game. The pacing of the story started great but the ending felt a little rushed, the story itself had interesting themes about contrasting who someone used to be with who they are in the present and that resonated with me personally in a way that I haven't experienced in any other game! I wish it was longer, I found myself wanting to see more of this world and its characters. I wish I could talk about it IRL without potential furry accusations, something this special deserves better than to just get dismissed as a "furry game" and nothing more. Dust: An Elysian Tail is a special game that feels like an intimate look into someone's special, hand-built world and it will always stand out to me as such.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is a 2D metroidvania "combo fighter"(idk) ? While its difficulty is on the very low end i found it fun to play through all the way. For sure if you want something casual this game works really well its easy and yet you can have a bunch of fun with combo'ing The story i found interesting as well though i won't spoil anything. The graphics for an old game are quite good. Generally i had allot of fun spending time 116%'ing the game. So if you want an very easy to play and beat metroidvania this games up there.

Played this in 2020 on Xbox 360, perfect game for everyone! I just got all the achievements and have 116% completion :)
