One of the GOATs, and even tho it's already pretty popular, I consider this game underappreciated still.
I generally liked Dying Light, but it didn't really hit me that hard. I enjoyed the story, there are lots of side missions that are fun to do. The characters exist, some moments are interesting, but I can't say the story was very memorable. I mostly just wanted to run around the city, do tasks and fight zombies rather than follow the plot. I liked the gameplay more. Parkour is really cool: you can run on rooftops, jump between buildings and quickly escape from enemies. Fights are fine, there are plenty of weapons, but sometimes it all gets a bit repetitive. Overall, Dying Light is a good game with a fun story. Playing was interesting, I just can't say it really hit me hard.
This game gave me some of my favorite co-op memories. The parkour, the nighttime chases, the chaos, and laughing with friends until 3 a.m... I'll never forget those nights.
