Without a doubt, Dying Light was one of the best games I have ever played. From the moment you turn the game on, it brings you into this world where everything feels so alive and dangerous, but definitely keeps you on your toes all the time. The main story was amazing, so interesting, so deep, like you will never know the next move that this game will bring you, and the side quests brought you these characters, some of whom you will meet again, and they also added another layer of experience. The graphics were just fantastic, everything felt so alive and nice, and the views, I really loved it! The parkour system was great, definitely one of the best I have experienced. Ngl, I sucked at parkouring though, but the system still was great. It was thrilling and felt like you need to earn yourself where you need to go. And then of course DLCs... WOW!!! For me, "The Following" hit hard, it was just a cherry on top of an already amazing game. All of it: the driving, which felt so good, maybe not counting how many times I drove into trees, but that's totally on me :D, but also the story in The Following just kept you intrigued all the time from start to finish, it just didn't let you go. And the ending, well I can only speak for myself, but the ending in "The Following" for me was more interesting and better than in the main story. If you want to buy Dying Light, I definitely recommend buying the Definitive 10th Anniversary Edition, which on sale is less than 10 Euro, you can't miss with that one. Other DLC was fine, but not really what I personally enjoy, The Following was just a better experience for me. I played most of the game in co-op, which made it even better, he also saved me a lot :D, but the game actually feels so much better playing it co-op, definitely more memorable. It was more fun and sometimes not too scary when zombies are too much in one spot and your bullets are almost zero. Overall, this game blends the gameplay, story, and co-op in a way that very few games manage to achieve. If you haven't played this game and are thinking if you should buy it, the answer is 100% yes!
-I ran and jumped from building to building -I drop kicked a child -I entered a home and looted it -I went home -I played Dying Light 10/10, would do it again
I actually beat this game a while ago when I grabbed it for free on Epic Games, but I bought it here for a nostalgia trip. Turns out I missed SO much stuff the first time around because I just rushed the main story. This playthrough? The exact opposite. I got totally sidetracked by side quests and now my character is ridiculously OP. Poor Jade is literally still waiting for me at the school to raid Rais's guys, while I'm just out here parkouring across the city chasing every single supply drop that falls from the sky. 10/10, would ignore the main quest again. Definitely going to keep playing.
