Excellent game. Game? No, its not a game, its a relaxing cyberpunk city builder. Love it so far.
Dystopika has a great aesthetic, but I find the value challenging. I fundamentally like the idea of the "city painter", especially in cyberpunk fashion. Dystopika excellently captures the look and feel. But it also comes off as a proof of concept, not really a feature complete "game" in any real sense. I streamed this to some friends while just chatting and we found it to bore us all quickly, with the novelty of the look and some secret object discovery wearing off quickly. I hope future projects carry more depth from this developer - but I genuinely think Dystopika is an interesting tech demo. I just can't recommend it being worth your money as-is.
Awesome sandbox to casually build, or get deep and intricate with your cities. You can even import custom billboards! Not a game, just something to chill out to. Love every second of it.
