It's the year 1993. Talking robots, ghosts from the past, and ancient alien technology buried under desert sand. A modern point-and-click adventure following Elroy and Peggie in the search of a long-lost father. How far would you go to bring back the ones you love?

Runs well on modern hardware.

Such an underrated too little known gem. I am saying this as an experienced pnc adventure fan who have been through them all since King's Quest I EGA. If this game came out 20 years ago from Lucas Arts it would be instant timeless classic. Every bit of detail in this game screams George Lucas. Even the Motiviti logo itself looks very much like Lucas Arts. Can't believe he was not involved. Hell I would say this is the most George-Lucasy game I have ever played! :D And the game quality is top notch from the voice over, visuals, audio, writing and story design overall. It could be released among Disney cartoons and stand on its own proudly. I am thinking what are the weak points here if any. The game is definitely NOT short as someone pointed out in the reviews. You simply can't speedrun it in less than 6 hours unless you are deliberately skipping through all dialogues. It's just that the puzzles are designed for the modern audience which is not very patient and does not tolerate pixel hunting and moon logic puzzles not to mention points of no return - there is none of these here which most players prefer nowadays. However the puzzles are very smart and intriguing. It's just the dialogues are so full of hints it's like the game tells you every step what to do and you are not required to think on your own that much. Another detail that holds the game back is the humor. There is some but it is so gentle not to offend any immature snowflake it's for everyone and for noone at the same time. Don't expect to laugh out loud as in the old days. However the writing actually tries to be mature, witty and encouraging, this exchange from the game says it all: "Too soon! I didn't figure you for a trash talker." "I played a lot of sports in high school... the game is just as much in your head as it is on the field."
After finishing the game, I wouldn't call this a point and click adventure, but more a visual novel with some puzzles. I never used the system the lights up objects you can interact with to make things easier, cause it was already very easy. Loads of dialog, that can be quite entertaining at times, but towards the end I just started to read instead of listen so I could click it away quicker to just get going and play the game instead of listening to the game. It isnt a bad game overall, it is just not what I was hoping for and way, way to easy.
Decent game with a decent story. Most of the puzzles were clear enough to not need a degree in something which can occasionally occur with point and click games.
