I'm legitimately only leaving a review to respond to WumpusGaming, as there's no other way to address how objectively abysmal his review is. "I cannot get Enshrouded to run after the last patch without it using 80-100% of the GPU and heating up to 40-50C. Every single other game I own uses between 20-40% of the GPU and heats up to 30-40C." Steam should ban you from leaving future reviews after typing that. High GPU utilization is most often a good thing and it means you're not bottlenecked elsewhere. If you're used to 20-40%, it's because you're playing some 16-bit pixel graphics and/or have low FPS caps set, because I doubt you're CPU bottlenecked with a 7950X3D. The cherry on top is that you're leaving a thumbs down because your GPU is at 40-50C, which is cool and well within rated temps, by the way. "The game is basically unplayable now and its sad." It's actually disgusting that Steam allows reviews like this and there's no way to reply to them directly. Comments should not be optional. This is either malicious, or you're so confused that I don't know how you dress yourself in the morning.
Love it. I love decorating and spending time on my huge cave base. I love the exploration and combat. I love the freedom to do what I want. Do I wanna stay at my base and decorate for hours? Do I want to go out and explore and quest? Do I want to go gather a bunch of shet? All the options for that are there and I love the freedom. Currently, definitely one of the best game this year I play.
The Game is good if you like ARPG's -There is a lot of depth to the combat but you have to go through the skill tree to add that depth via the newly unlocked combat skills that allow more special moves. -The map is massive -The Building is a lot of fun and a huge variety of different styles -You can scale the difficulty, Quantity of enemies, xp gain, time it takes to mine resources -Coop is a blast -The travel mechanic is gliding which is a lot of fun and the glider can be upgraded -There is puzzles via the Spires/Towers I easily lost 200 hours before writing this, Check reviews, watch game play and check feed back to read up on what others found negative about the game. Me Personally, love it and my experience has been great. I am going to easily pour another 200 hours in, the building alone is a lot of fun.
