I really underestimated this game. I had no idea how great the music would be or how perfectly they managed to integrate it into a game. Besides Thumper I never "felt" the music like this before. I also underestimated its difficulty. And I've never been more thankful for a selection of difficulties below normal/standard. Last but not least, I underestimated the NPCs and their stories. The game is as charming as it is simple. 84/100
It's so peak, great music, great character designs, great story. The ending really sticks with you fr. Some fights were pretty easy and some really challenging. Only 1 fight discouraged me lmao but I beat it eventually.
My goat light being
A lot of the tracks have been dropped into the soup that is my playlist. I almost dropped it early on cause I wasn't getting into it but I gave it another shot and oh boy am I glad I did. Sorry devs, I'm not no hitting anything in this game, it will remain unperfected. I can't wait to play the second one and see how they out do the first one!
This is one of those games that is so indescribably good that you can't find words for it. It is absolutely its own thing and you will never play another thing like it (except maybe its sequel).
