To be honest, I don't think you even need to have seen Fairy Tail in order to appreciate the game. The gameplay loop is just that good. I can't say how it compares to other roguelike deckbuilders, but there's a ton of replay value in this game.
This game came out of nowhere for me, How I never heard that a good rouge-like fairy tale game came out in 2024 I have no idea, it popped up and I saw good reviews and took a chance on it and it is well worth while. Its more than worth the 7 bucks I paid for it.
Fun combat and I like how you can have different character builds saved. Every run is different and unique with good difficulty but definitely not too easy, especially in the later levels. Final verdict, for the average gamer I would give it a 7/10, if you are into the anime it might add a point or 2.
