Far Cry 3 is a 2012 first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the third main installment in the Far Cry series after Far Cry 2. The game takes place on the fictional Rook Islands, a tropical archipelago which can be freely explored by players. Gameplay focuses on combat and exploration. Players can use a variety of weapons to defeat human enemies and hostile wildlife, and the game features elements found in role-playing games such as skill trees and experience. After a vacation goes awry, protagonist Jason Brody must save his friends, who have been kidnapped by pirates, and escape from the island and its unhinged inhabitants.

"Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity? Insanity... is logging into the correct Ubisoft Connect account... entering the correct password... over and over again... expecting Far Cry 3 to actually launch. That... is... crazy." I've owned this game for 2 days and have managed a grand total of 30 minutes of playtime because it crashes constantly. I've watched 9 different YouTube tutorials, verified the game files, restarted everything, and tried just about every fix people recommend. Nothing works. It's genuinely ridiculous that a game this old still has issues like this. I wanted to enjoy one of Ubisoft's best games, but instead I've spent more time troubleshooting Ubisoft Connect than actually playing Far Cry 3.

its' a really good game with a great story and great acting. it was made by good people and now it's owned by really not good people. do with that what you will
