The classic, OG dungeon crawler that started it all, it's worth it to play just for the nostalgia alone even though it has less biomes, gear, and and monster types than later installments; it's cheap as hell and well worth it just for a nice trip down memory lane, or if you wanna do a run of all the FATE games where you start with this one and then import your character into Cursed King before finishing off with Tratior Soul. If you're unfamiliar with the series there's not really much story but it's a fun and simple dungeon crawl with gameplay that has its own complexity but isn't too difficult to master. You can easily sink hours into it and the artstyle/music is very charming :) Good game but it get repetitive. 7/10
A fun, compact dungeon-crawler ARPG with satisfying loot and progression, plus a solid mix of monsters, quests, pets, and build options. It’s easy to pick up and stays addictive even after many hours. The main drawbacks are the lack of multiplayer and a deeper story, and the procedurally generated levels and quests can start to feel repetitive during longer play sessions.
It's kind of repetitive, but I still really like it, nice mechanics,
