Can't say I fully understood the game, but it was a pleasant if a short experience.
Beautiful but very short game. I finished it in an hour with no desire/need to replay anything. Puzzles and ideas are fun but nothing particularly difficult or mind blowing.
This is a unique drawn-looking puzzle game, watch the trailer, decide if you like it. It's a lot of trial-and-error because there's a lot of arbitrary randomness (zoom in on a scene, separate, zoom out later and it's a different scene). That said, it's somewhat mindless and my 8 year old and I loved it. 5 year old enjoyed it too, maybe because the older boy loved it. If you don't care about achievements and want something new to keep you busy for less than 2 hours, get it on sale and go for it! If you do want achievements, there's only 11. 6 are guaranteed if you beat the game (70.2% of owners have done it, that's impressive!). The rest are very doable, but could take some time... 7. Beat the demo that unlocks after beating the game. 8. Chapter select to chapter 3 (green fruit), and beat the falling rock puzzle on the first try (the first few don't count, until you zoom in on the coal box). 9. Keep playing chapter 3 and continue to the clock puzzle, and put 7:30 on the clock. 10. Speed run! Gotta beat the game in under 30 minutes. I uninstalled and reinstalled to be extra safe, but it's believed the timer starts as the game loads. Google Maka's Gorogoa - 100% Full Game Walkthrough. You CAN pause (and resume by clicking the top right). His guide finishes in ~23 minutes so take your time to get the next achievement at the same time. 11. Complete the entire game in under 500 moves. No idea what a move is, is it a click? Either way, I managed to pull off 10 and 11 in a later playthrough on my first attempt, with the guide, and it added ~54 minutes of playtime to get both done. I made two mistakes, still succeeded, and can confirm it's easier if you put your panels where he does. That said, he does do the 'wrong time' achievement in it, which could cost you a lot of clicks/ moves, so at that puzzle I skipped to another guide and came back. 5.2% of us thought it was worth getting every achievement.
