Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a 2002 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the fourth main game in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 2001's Grand Theft Auto III, and the sixth entry overall. Set in 1986 within the fictional Vice City, the single-player story follows gangster Tommy Vercetti's rise to power after being released from prison and becoming caught up in an ambushed drug deal. While seeking out those responsible, Tommy gradually builds a criminal empire by seizing power from other criminal organisations.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Completed at 100%, with basic optimization mods like Widescreen fix+60 fps is way better than a Definitive Edition. Still smooth and playable. Masterpiece. P.S. Candy Suxxx actually sux.
ReViced Mod improves this game a lot in regards of Quality of Life aspects and other improvements. Take a look on the Guide in the Steam Community. Finally I can play the game like it felt back in May 2003
It laid the groundwork but didn't do much more than that I feel. Originally in the start I was loving it, the missions were somewhat varied and the plot flowed pretty nicely. But after a certain point the game kinda just stops, it hits you with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about needing to "expand your business" which makes sense from the plot perspective but then nothing happens until you do 6 batches of random assortments of missions. So from my perspective it went from "I own sweet ♥♥♥♥ all and am rising through the ranks" to "I afk'd staring at a stripper for 5 minutes, did some film studio stuff and got into a cab war for some reason and suddenly I am the godfather of Vice City". Also a small tidbit but having no backstory given to both Tommy Vercetti and Sonny Forelli throughout the entire game only to drop some actually interesting information in the last two seconds was kind of lame. Overall I just feel the game fell apart at the latter half and it's kinda sad to see. But at the same time I feel I can't exactly be too harsh as going from 3 to Vice City is a major step up. Feel this game just made me appreciate San Andreas alot more by the end of it. The combat is kinda iffy, enemies just disintegrate you if you get caught in the crossfire and moving/shooting is just nonexistent unless you use the pistol(????????) but combat has never really been GTA's strong suit. I have to say however, the vibe in this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ immaculate. The music is probably some of the best in the series and seeing the sunset over this city is just amazing, probably the most memorable of the three cities just for the atmosphere but then again they are all super memorable. Last thing I wanted to mention was that the driving was complete ass, going from San Andreas to this was extremely rough. Anytime a car taps you, you'll just go spiralling in some random direction and die most likely. Don't even get me started on the bikes, why braking makes you swerve into a wall and pull either a hard left or right I'll never know. Pick it up, just don't expect the best ending in history lmao.
