The story starts three years before the events of the first game and the adventures of De Sardet. This time you play as a native of Teer Fradee, uprooted by force from your island and taken to the continent of Gacane, where the colonists are from. In this old world ravaged by war and scarred by the Malichor plague and the political scheming of the different factions, you need to regain your freedom and control of your own destiny. Using diplomacy, cunning or combat, as well as help from allies you make, it's up to you to end one man's ambitions of conquest, which could spell the end for the continent and your island. Experience the unique world of GreedFall again by exploring the old continent! Travel across new landscapes, from Olima – the city of stars of the Bridge Alliance – to the shores of Uxantis, and uncover the secrets of these ancient lands. Meet all the factions that share control over these nations and navigate the treacherous waters of their schemes and conspiracies. Create your own character and find allies to join your team. Help them with their quests, uncover their secrets and make them your friends, rivals or even lovers.

Runs well on modern hardware.

I would love to recommend as I have played many games from Spiders, but do not buy this game. Spiders has been closed by Nacon and the people who worked on the game have lost their jobs. It honestly does not feel like a complete game. Some quest were broken and combat feels horrible. I played for about 20 hours before I gave up and had I known the issues with Nacon I would not have bought in early access.
RIP Spiders, this one hurts. ♥♥♥♥ Nacon. Spiders, the development studio, have told people not to buy this game as the money will go to Nacon.
It is a shame to leave a negative review as I do have a soft spot for this Studio but the state the game is in is completely unacceptable. The amount of bugs and performance issues you see just in the first minutes of the game foreshadow what might be an even worse experience down the line. Performance issues are not a surprise from Spider but this is on a whole different level. I won't go much further into this as there isn't much to add. I hope there is a good game there for those who can play it.
