Runs well on modern hardware.

If you have ever played a video game on Steam, you owe it to yourself to play this masterpiece. Without this game, there would be no Valve, without Valve there wouldn't be this game. Without Valve there would be no Steam. Play this game. It's literally like pennies on all of the Steam sales... I promise you, you will love it. Time? Time. Time/10
After so many years finally finished Half Life. Pretty cool game. I remember playing a demo from magazine decades ago.
I had never played this game or any games from this era of PC games, decided to give it a try for $10. I planned on giving it a couple hours of playtime, and ended up playing for 10 hours straight. This game can be very challenging but so fun. You are the main character in this first-person shooter and have to navigate your way to safety as you piece together the plot. You fight off monsters, interact with friendly NPCs and solve the puzzles of the maps to progress forward with the campaign. Warning: This game WILL BE extremely challenging and frustrating at times, there is no hand-holding and not all mechanics are perfect, but when you finally overcome one of those challenges, it is so rewarding and satisfying. It brings me back to that feeling I had as a child when a video game could suck you in with its challenge, mystery and wonder. This game is a prime example of how video games WERE different back then. Even with the limited resources the developers had in 1998, they were still able to create something that outperforms most games today.
