Half-Life 2: Update

A classic you have to play. The Halflife series is the one of the best games there is. Yes the graphics are old but the story and gameplay are all brilliant.

What is there to say? I haven't played the original and chose to go through with Half-Life 2: Update from the very beginning. However, there are comparisons out here to see the difference between graphics here and there. Considering this is a free mod, I think this is a great piece of work. Still the same Half Life 2 with enhanced lightning and shading (and graphics overall). Made my play through enjoyable. On the downside, however, I have to mention that the additional episodes are nowhere to be found (despite the developer commentary still being there), opening the options menu was a bit laggy (not that big of an issue imo) and for whatever the reason subtitles did not work on my end. Maybe it's a settings issue, I was too lazy to figure it out during my play through. Overall, this mod is nice! The same ol' Half-Life 2 with tidied up graphics. Keeps the atmosphere of the original while upgrading the visuals to a newer level.
