Runs well on modern hardware.

Ok hot take, but gotta be honest: i am slightly disappointed in this game. Plus sides: Indiana Jones was part of my childhood, and this definitely brings the vibe across. Good acting, good locations, ticks all the boxes for a good Indy adventure, however: - It's much more linear than i expected. Basically the game just lays it all out for you. The only thing making it less linear is that there are a limited number of side quests that you can do in random order, and a bunch of collectibles. - The game is pretty, ofcourse, but for this level of graphics settings, on a machine like mine? Come on it's a bit subpar isn't it? Look what the Witcher 3 was able to do ages ago. There's even some flat textures of 3D things like leaves etc. Very noticable. I can't even get near running this game at the highest graphics settings. Which should definitely be possible with my hardware. Conclusion: poorly optimized. There are some things that are simply unacceptable for a game that wants to present itself as AAA in this day and age. Like completely rigid curtains or textiles with no physics whatsoever. - The level design is a big disappointment imho. It almost feels like a Unity game often. A tangible limited open arena, with a whole bunch of props spread about. It also doesn't make sense that some of the things laying around can be used as weapons, while others are part of the decor, without any legitimate reason. Like pipes, branches, tools, etc. - There is no consistency in how the levels can be interacted with. Some platforms are climable at a certain height, other surfaces at the same height or lower, can not be climbed on. There's even many very noticable invisible walls! Which is a red flag for a AAA game i think. Games like Dishonored and the more modern Tomb Raider iterations (games that are definitely comparible w regards to dynamics and way of playing) do all of these things so much better, and are way older. - Also some realy dumb bugs, like lighting leaks, low poly areas where you can get stuck, and dialog randomly starting while under water. (The one i found funny was where Indy was groaning and grunting like when climbing walls, while i was driving the boat in Siam) All in all, i expected way more. Can't say i heartily recommend it, but was entertaining enough to want to complete. Given the price, i'm going to say No
Best Indiana jones story since the last crusade.......In my mind, its the only story since then
Honestly a very good and surprisingly fun game. Although some of the controls can be a bit janky and the guns feel like crap, the platforming is quite solid, the melee combat is cool, navigating through caves and temples is fun and the puzzles aren't too cryptic. I also liked the story and feels like im watching one of the movies. Would recommend.
