Beautiful platformer that will take you back in time where everything was good and charming with chunk of love to spare for you. I mean this cant get better: iconic mascot with crazy world to spin around on hes tale. You got everything: bad evil villain plot, decent and creative level designs and tons of collectible mini diamond coins. For what can I test you is with promise that Kao the cangaroo 2 is the best from the trilogy. Its not that crushing and unforgiving like first one and its more straight forward than third one. The pick is one and you know where to land. Oh and the latest Kao game is also very good.
Kao is a classic-style 3D platformer from its earlier era. The characters aren't particularly memorable, but the levels are varied, colorful, and provide a solid platforming experience throughout the adventure. That said, some aspects of the level design feel outdated by modern standards. Sections where you're forced to run toward the camera with limited visibility can be frustrating, as obstacles often appear with little time to react. Despite these issues, the game remains enjoyable. There are certainly stronger 3D platformers available today, but if you're a fan of the genre and appreciate old-school platforming, it is a positive experience.
This game had its game of the year STOLEN unjustly by 2003 steam goty winner Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, The platforming and atmosphere are original and unlike anything done before, something that cannot be said about Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic as it borrowed all of its hype from an already mainstream franchise must buy, wait till it is full price to buy imo
