KILL KNIGHT is an ultra-responsive arcade-inspired isometric action shooter. Condemned to eternal sufferance, deep within the voids of an eldritch arena, you must wield an arsenal of devastating weaponry to obliterate swarms of otherworldly horrors - and MASTER THE DEMON WITHIN.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Aparently not my kind of game. The controls, they don't really work for me and/or my brain. Tried both keyboard and controller, and I think controller is better but still... just doesn't click for me. Even adjusted the 'melee' aim to be in line with walking, instead of the 2nd stick, but still not great. Needing right thumb to aim and trigger a melee attack, seems like a bad design choise. Some kind of blast attack that requires to aim with right thumb, right bumper to 'activate the mode' and I forgot which 3rd buttons was needed to actually fire (probably left trigger)... Nope, doesn't feel right for me. Dashing also somehow feels assigned to the wrong button... I dunno. Yeah, I could try to remap the buttons, but I don't think I want to bother, Why? Because the combat itself... didn't inspire me to want to play it either. Game came in a bundle and I thought (badly informing myself, that's on me) that this may be a 'Vampire Survivors' kind of thing. It's definitely not. Oh, and it's a high-score setting game... Which tend not to be my genre either. I kind of like there are 3 different active reload options, that's a nice touch.
Like Khazan & Sekiro with absolutely no downtime. Play it on Acolyte at least, you'll struggle a bit but it's awesome. There's also weekly descent, super difficult modes, 10/10 game. I'll keep it installed for a while longer definitley!
Game so good that it makes me cry
