Probably the best story based game i have ever played. SImply outstanding. I didnt think they could make the game any better after the first one but they have succeeded in improving the format. Graphics are lovely, gameplay is smooth and engaging with some nice creature comforts like potion hotkeys. Choices in the game are meaningful and significantly effect the outcome of events. Minigames like dice, crafting and alchemy are great and provide a challenge as well as useful benefits. In terms of bugs and stability i didnt enounter any bugs apart from the rare visual bug with an arrow stuck in my shield or something coming into my line of sight. This was usually fixed by saving and reloading, removing armour and repair it then putting it back on or reaching a cut scene. I didnt have a single crash while playing and it tolerated alt tabbing very smoothly. I had one period of unexplained frame rate drop that persisted until a restart but that was it. Most importantly it made me laugh and want to play more, the storyline is compelling and the dialogue is often hilarious. 10/10 highly recommend. Well worth the money even at full price. If you enjoyed KCD1 you simply have to play this.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is one of the best games I have ever played. They truly outdid themselves in every single aspect the story is epic and unforgettable, the characters are incredible genuinely reminded me of the amazing squad dynamic in Mass Effect. The side quests are among the best in the industry, right up there with The Witcher. The game also offers an incredibly accurate and beautiful depiction of the Middle Ages, with a level of detail that shows how much care, love, and dedication went into its creation. Every part of this game feels crafted with passion. An absolute masterpiece, and one of the best games OAT
This is that game which makes you love gaming again. KCD1 was a masterpiece, and this game improves upon it in every single aspect (extremely rare for games coming out these days). Optimization is really good and works great on my PC even with such an old CPU. Graphics look amazing, and character details are insane. The world and cinematics are really immersive. Some of my immersive bias also comes from the fact that it supports ultrawide perfectly, with every cutscene filling up my screen properly with no black bars. Even the loading screen and main menu support ultrawide. Soundtracks feel very authentic. There is no way anybody can review this game without mentioning the amazing actors Tom McKay and Luke Dale, as this game has tons and tons of dialogues and they never feel boring. When other games are looking for quick money by releasing uninspired games, Warhorse Studios seems to be going the opposite route of doing proper research, recreating the authentic 15th-century Kingdom of Bohemia, and implementing very detailed systems of combat, crafting, alchemy, reputations, character stats, etc. Overall, the game is definitely worth buying at full price. The DLCs are amazing too, with "Legacy of Forge" adding to Henry's personal storyline and "Mysteria Ecclesiae" giving access to a huge monastery and an immersive mystery investigation story.
