Leaf it Alone

I played it, while putting off actual yard work. 10/10, would procrastinate again!

This is an amazing game for what it is. I clean up the leaves, I gets some money. There is a leaderboard and I will be trying to get to the top so I can distribute the leaves to all. To note: this ran very well on my potato and would recommend to people with lower spec PCs

The ONLY reason I recommend this game is because it is priced CHEAP. Get it on sale, or don't get it at all... because it's too short. You can literally go watch a movie and it will take longer than this entire game. You can beat this game in 2 hours. If you take more than 3 hours, you're not right in the head. There is an achievement for speed-running it in under 40 minutes. Not much replayability, there is no "new game plus" in this one but if you missed some achievements you can just start a fresh new game and try again. So what is it? It's very chill. You start with your bare hands and a leaf bag. Pick up leaves by hand, empty the bag in the trash when it fills up. Earn money for each leaf that you put in the trash. Spend that money to buy a bigger leaf bag, a rake, and a leaf blower. Then spend MORE money to upgrade those. Or spend a bit of money to repair some vacuum leaf chutes built into some of the walls around the house. By cleaning 100% of the leaves in an area, each area will either buff the value of each future leaf by 25%, or give you a few dollars, or increase your sprinting speed, or unlock the next area for you. If you plan it right, there is an achievement (which is really hard to get) for earning a total of $7000. To get it you have to plan your route and start with the three areas that buff your $/leaf earnings. So yeah, it's short. But the art is cute and the mood is very chill. Get it on sale for cheap.
