Left 4 Dead is a 2008 first-person shooter game developed by Valve South and published by Valve. It was originally released for Windows and Xbox 360 in November 2008 and for Mac OS X in October 2010, and is the first title in the Left 4 Dead series. Set during the aftermath of a zombie outbreak on the East Coast of the United States, the game pits its four protagonists, dubbed the "Survivors", against hordes of the infected.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Left 4 Dead is an absolute classic. I spent countless nights playing it with people I originally met through the game, and some of my favorite gaming memories come from those sessions. The simple but incredibly replayable co-op gameplay made every campaign feel different, and it's still one of the best cooperative games ever made.
Pretty cool game, nice horror aspect to it. I highly suggest buying left 4 dead 2 rather than the first because almost all the content is in the second game and the multiplayer servers are more populated.
One of the best classic zombie games out there! Super fun with friends, would recommend it. 9/10
