Left 4 Dead 2 is a 2009 first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. The sequel to Left 4 Dead (2008) and the second game in the Left 4 Dead series, it was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in November 2009, Mac OS X in October 2010, and Linux in July 2013.

Runs well on modern hardware.

before playing this game i had no job, no life, no girlfriend, and no car. after playing it none of that changed but it was fun playing this game frfr
This is a classic Valve game; anyone who's a fan of FPS and/or co-op games, then this is definitely a game that should be checked out. Despite it being so long that it's been released, if one is concerned about finding co-op Campaign or Survival matches, then that should not be a concern at all. The only thing that I do have to caution against is the PvP part of the game, as it can get toxic sometimes (the players sometimes expect everybody to know L4D2 PvP etiquette, and they will freely use the team kick system).
L4D2 is one of the few games that got me through my parents separation when i was 13, so yes I'd highly recommend this game. Community made campaigns from the workshop, the randomness of the AI director, and the small online community is what makes this game highly repayable (to me, at least).
