Lies Of P

I actually refunded Lies of P at first because I just couldn’t get into it and had no intention of continuing. For some reason, Steam kept my refund pending for almost 24 hours. I ended up canceling it and thought, “Alright, I’ll give it one more chance.” I only had around 40 minutes left before reaching the refund limit. And somehow, in those 40 minutes, the game completely clicked for me. I’m genuinely glad Steam didn’t take it away from me. The first hour or two can feel a little slow and may not immediately grab you, but once you get past that initial barrier, the game becomes incredibly satisfying. The combat feels great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and after a while it really starts to give you that Bloodborne-on-PC kind of feeling. If you tried it and didn’t like it at first, give it a little more time before giving up. Definitely worth a second chance.

Lies of P is easily my favorite Soulslike that isn't made by FromSoftware. I genuinely don't know how to put into words how much this game means to me. The setting of Krat is absolutely incredible. It's beautiful, haunting, mysterious, and depressing in all the best ways. The lore and story are some of the most emotional I've experienced in a game. There were multiple moments where this game genuinely made me tear up and cry, and very few games have ever managed to leave that kind of impression on me. The story, characters, lore, and themes surrounding humanity, lies, love, suffering, and sacrifice were handled beautifully. There is so much to discover beneath the surface, and the more I learned about the world, the more attached I became to it. And the combat is fantastic. It feels incredibly satisfying once you get into the rhythm of it, and the bosses are phenomenal. I honestly love every boss in this game, but Nameless Puppet and Arlecchino are definitely my personal favorites. The DLC was also an amazing addition and only made me appreciate the game even more. It was an absolute joy getting to return to this world setting and experience more of what the developers had created. There is also a ridiculous amount of replayability here. Different endings, builds, weapons, choices, and things to discover make this a game I can see myself returning to again and again. I'll absolutely be going for 100% completion when I get the chance. Huge respect to NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio for creating this masterpiece. You can tell how much love and work was put into it. <3

after 3 playthros , a platinum , i would 1000% recommend this game to any person who wants the souls like game that would change your life. this was my first ever souls like game ive played , never did DS , ER , none of that , ONLY KH , and playing this opened my world to a gamestyle that i grew to be addicted too . this is a game i will be playing every year from here on out and always telling ppl to play it , & the DLC is a game changer , from weapons , gameplay , bosses all of it , it was one of the greatest games ive ever played. 100/10.
