Loddlenaut is an ocean cleanup adventure set on a vibrant alien planet. Play as an interstellar custodian sent to clean up a polluted ocean planet. Repurpose marine debris and take care of axolotl-like alien creatures! As you clean up the planet, you’ll run into axolotl-like aliens known as “loddles.” Protect them from the polluted waters and feed them aquatic fruits while you make their planet habitable again. Depending on their diet, loddles will grow in different ways and develop unique traits and abilities that will further enable them to survive on this polluted planet.

Runs well on modern hardware.

This is a wonderful, beautiful game (with pixelizaton disabled). It took me about 9 hours to 100%. The game was surprisinly deeper than expected. It was really enjoyable to gradually work on restoring the environment and taking care of the creatures. Incredible value. It ran well, no issues.
Overall: A fantastic, enjoyable, and relaxing cleaning game that I'd 100% love to see more of this world or other planets if they choose to make more!
Postives

Colours: The use of colours allows players to identify interactable gameplay elements at a distance and contrast well against the environment.
Graphics: The graphics are both simple and charming while still maintaining both a pleasant feeling when roaming around and uneasiness when descending into the Metzi Trench.
Loddles: They. Are. So. Cute. They are absolutely endearing to have follow around, play, pet, and even watching them mimic back the helmet flashes with little chirps.
Gameplay: It is very relaxing and of no difficulty beyond the Oxygen mechanic which I never had issue with. Time will pass by quick when you're immersed in cleaning. The tools provided are fun to use and I didn't feel too frustrated when using them.
Achievements: It's mostly easy to get 100% Steam achievements for this game, with some effort to get the more difficult ones but nothing stressful.
Story: It's very silly and lighthearted and I do enjoy reading the Holo-Badges and the dialogue from our assistant.

Negatives

Resource Facilities: There are 5 different recycling facilities and I would constantly forget which trash would be taken in to the Green and Blue bins as some of the trash looks similar to one another that is accepted into one but not the other.
Vacuum: This one I really like, but the one gripe I have with it is that it's a mood breaker having the vacuum be full and needing to return to the home base to empty it out before it can be used.
Scrubber: This one is probably my favourite of the tools, the issue I have with it is having Loddle followers get covered in goop again whenever I use it as I can't set them to stop following me when the zone isn't clean enough for them to allow me the option to do so.
This game strikes the perfect balance between cute, calm, and very addictive. One of the things I liked the most was the lack of grinding. It could easily have been very resource gathering intensive, but somehow found the right level of grindy and moving the story and action forward. I am very impressed, and I usually avoid cutesy games. This one left me with a soft spot for the cute little loddles.
