Loddlenaut is an ocean cleanup adventure set on a vibrant alien planet. Play as an interstellar custodian sent to clean up a polluted ocean planet. Repurpose marine debris and take care of axolotl-like alien creatures! As you clean up the planet, you’ll run into axolotl-like aliens known as “loddles.” Protect them from the polluted waters and feed them aquatic fruits while you make their planet habitable again. Depending on their diet, loddles will grow in different ways and develop unique traits and abilities that will further enable them to survive on this polluted planet.

Runs well on modern hardware.

A charming game about cleaning the ocean while dealing with your insufferable manager and cute fishes. Very cozy to play at night before bed! With some neglectable hiccups while running in ProtonDB, I can recommend this to other Linux users too.
This game is so cute and cozy. I enjoy playing it at the end of a long day as the tasks are mindless, but rewarding. Restoring the ocean and supporting its inhabitants is fulfilling. I am not recommending it because the game has crashed frequently for me so far. I have to save constantly in fear of losing my progress.
This is an excellent cleaning sim. It's very therapeutic to scrub an area clean, to pick up all the trash, to rehabilitate adorable little axolotls. Everything feels smooth and intuitive. The graphics are incredible, although I am admittedly partial to PSX aesthetics. I wish I'd been able to get more time out of it, but it was still an immensely satisfying experience. I was a little put off initially by the gunk-respawning mechanic. Eventually, if left alone, areas will deteriorate back to dirtiness. Even 100% clean areas do it. This is largely a me-problem as I understand it, but I vastly prefer when cleaning sims don't require maintenance. I like to know that an area I've cleaned will stay that way. Luckily the respawning of trash was very slow. It was barely a problem. This game is fun, cute, and cozy. The creature collecting mechanic is entirely non-stressful. There's no punishment for neglecting your loddles. Cleaning is addicting. I can't explain it. Much of the game is literally just holding right trigger, yet the animations are so mesmerizing. It's definitely a great game, but I'd recommend waiting for a sale. $20 is a little too much for how short it is.
