A PvP-focused extraction shooter set on the mysterious planet of Tau Ceti IV, Marathon will see players inhabit the bodies of Runners, cybernetic mercenaries who have been designed to survive the planet’s harsh environments and explore the lost colony that once inhabited Tau Ceti’s surface. Players will engage solo or in crews of three, searching for mysterious alien artifacts, as well as for valuable loot and new weapons and gear that they can add to their collection.

Such a beautiful game. So much wonderful art, impactful sound design, incredible maps. The UX and motion design alone in this game is top-tier. The colors, the flow, the impact. The cutscenes are neck deep in vibes. The abilities are satisfying to use, the feel of shooting a weapon in this game is top tier. All that, and they put it into a horrible extraction shooter with a 1 second time to kill that no one can enjoy. In a fight you're dead before you can even press an ability button, let alone wait for its animation to play out. If you're over 30 and don't have sweaty reflexes, you may go 10-20 rounds without ever surviving. My condolences to the incredible artists that worked on this game. Such a shame. You really made something beautiful here, that is terrible to play.
Review from Perspective of only having bought for Vault Breakers : Amazing map . Desing of game super coherent ( from UI to the look and feel of world , very impressive) . I would rather suck ♥♥♥♥♥ for vodka than play an extraction shooter . This game has great shooting, , weapons and map . Too good to die . Please keep the PVE mode , it is already excellent because the game is excellent. with a few tweeks ,could be goty. I cant be the only one who really likes all this but doesnt like extraction shoothers.
