Discover with Marsupilami: Hoobadventure, a brand new adventure inviting young players and adult alike to take control of the three Marsupilamis from the Palombian forsest. Punch, Twister and Hope are three Marsupilamis living a peaceful life in Palombia. Their lives are about to take a drastic turn when they accidentally open a sarcophagus whilst playing with debris on a beach, releasing a mysterious ghost cursing all the animals! Thankfully, our three Marsupilamis are immune to the curse and decide to set out on an adventure and find the ghost and reverse the curse. Inspired by the comic book Marsupilami from Franquin, this 2.5D platformer will take you on a colorful journey through the Palombian jungle, a coastal city and even an abandoned temple. Jump, punch, dash and swing with your tail like only Marsupilamis do!

Runs well on modern hardware.

At first glance it looked like a super basic kids platformer and yeah, it kind of is, but in a way that’s actually pretty fun. It’s very straightforward: run, jump, smack enemies and collect stuff, but everything feels polished enough that it doesn’t get boring too quickly. The levels are colorful and easy to get through, and the whole jungle vibe has a nice morning cartoon feel to it. It doesn’t really try to do anything new. The controls aren’t the tightest, but they’re good enough, and checkpoints are generous. It can get a bit stressful when going for medals in time trials, but the rest of the time it’s pretty relaxed, which makes it perfect to just sit back and enjoy. That said, it’s definitely on the easier side. Most of the challenge comes from trying to collect everything rather than just finishing levels. If you’re looking for something deep or mechanically complex, this isn’t it. But as a chill platformer you can play without thinking too hard, it does the job really well. Short, simple and enjoyable for what it is.
How can something this beautiful and nostalgic remain so underappreciated? I’ve watched the Marsupilami cartoon since childhood. The game is visually soothing, with stunning visual effects, captivating music, and thoughtfully crafted level design. Even the replayability of its levels has been executed with remarkable craftsmanship. Anyone who enjoys the 2D platformer genre will absolutely love it. That said, the game is very easy ! At least for me.
fantastic game. Total Crash Bandicoot ♥♥♥♥. I got this game for $1 from a Fanatical easter egg sale and now I feel like I should send the dev team the remaining amount for what it actually sells for.
