Made me feel like a kid all over again. Main reason why I bought a steamdeck. 10/10, would web fling an inmate into a burning car again.

This game really makes you feel like you’re not just watching a great Spider-Man movie but you’re actually in it, playing the main character. The web-swinging feels insanely satisfying, and so does pulling off acrobatics across a super detailed Manhattan, its music kicks in at the perfect moments, the combat system is solid with a bunch of cool gadgets, and of course, there’s a great Spider-Man story, probably the best, with all his iconic enemies. For some reason, it didn’t click for me right away. At the start, the story feels kinda basic and there are a few of side activities that seem pretty boring. But give it some time and it really picks up. Both the main story and the open-world stuff get way more engaging, and you actually start to feel like Spider-Man. I know the game’s been out for a while and already got tons of praise, but I still wanted to throw in my own positive review and recommend it. Really hoping the Miles Morales sequel hooks me just like this one.
