New game+ mission 1. After clearing the room, use my upgrade point, the red screen will not let me proceed. I have killed myself deliberately nothing changes I have restarted the checkpoint numerous times same thing I have quit the game to main menu went back same thing I closed the game completely come back to it still locked. That red screen is blocking the way there's nothing else left to do. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but after using my upgrade points I open it back up and it still shows one point but cannot choose it again. I could be wrong but I believe it's because of one point that still shows after you have used your point. Normally after you use your upgrade point it unlocks the area, in this case I used the point then I opened the upgrades again and the point is still there, however it cannot be used again. Thing is I've got 14 hours vested in this game not being able to move forward makes me lose every bit of my progress. I was giving this game a very good recommendation however I'm thinking I'm going to have to give a negative unless it gets fixed.
A 5h long campaing featuring a doom2016-like fast paced gameplay. Pretty good game, story is meh but gameplay is good enough. Play it once and you'll certainly leave a positive review. Having said that, NG+ doesn't work. You get stuck early in the game and can't proceed. I wish I could give this a positive review, but the issue is gamebreaking. I wanted to farm achievements after completing the game (since I liked it) but now I just can't be bothered to care anymore.
The gunplay and running was cool. Similar to doom. Really fast paced, which was cool. However, the story was just sound bytes cobbled together. You ultimately only have one weapon type that breaks through armor, and almost all enemies are armored, so it becomes a game of "find the ammo powerup", which is boring. There's also parkour which, if you fail, you fall to your death, and have to start over. These parts suck.
