MiSide is an adventure game developed by Russian indie development team AIHASTO. It was initially published as a demo on August 18, 2023, before being fully released on Steam on December 11, 2024. The game begins on a light-hearted tone where the player downloads a mobile game and starts hanging out with their new anime-styled virtual girlfriend by playing various mini-games with her. Soon, the player finds the story taking on a metafictional horror narrative.

Runs well on modern hardware.

This game is a absolute gem, 100% a must play! Don't watch any gameplay and just jump in, it's the perfect blend of cute and horror, with psychological twists. Can't wait for peaceful mode with Crazy Mita!
Finally a truly horrifying game that elicits only the worst terrors of which I can conceive (talking to women)
An impressively solid and coherent gaming experience, especially for a 6 hour game with a huge chunk of post-game content while being entirely made by TWO PEOPLE. Dialogue was rough in a-lot of spots but im choosing to take that as an artistic choice rather than a fault, its possible some characters didn't get a proper share of screentime but maybe im nuts, and I was never truly frightened besides maybe the latter half of the P.T section. Beyond that, an incredibly well made indie horror that consistently gifts the player with beautifully crafted set pieces, and cheerfully corny but enjoyable cast members, all wrapped within a fairly fun and well grounded story. 8.8/10
