What a gem of a game!

This fantastic game and more on Hardcore Reviews! ⚡
Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight is a classic metroidvania with beautiful pixel art and a very clean visual style. The environments, animations, and overall presentation are simple but really well done, making it easy to enjoy every area you explore. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3769342173 Gameplay is fast and responsive. You have melee attacks, a bow for ranged combat, and some special abilities that can help a lot in tough situations. Exploration feels good, with secrets, upgrades, and backtracking just like you expect from the genre. Difficulty can be quite high, especially on hard mode. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1591466412 FOR SPECIAL ATTACK USE ⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬅️➡️ ⚠️ You can only perform one fairy special attack at a time; to use another fairy special attack, you need to visit a prayer point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hgFfTR0LJg The game is not very long, but it’s a solid experience from start to finish. Good music, nice level design, and fun boss fights make it worth it. If you like metroidvanias, this one is an easy recommendation. Thanks for reading! :)
I've never played this saga, this is the first title I've played. The game is a classical metroidvania but it feels smooth, fast , intuitive and efficent in his lenght. Very enjoyble moments with the gameplay working nicely with the feelings the games wants to gives you. Nice musics and sounds, nice aestetich. The lore of this world looks amazing and deep. Generally reccomended
This is!!! Good, not great, just good. This is one of the lower better Metroidvania's I've played, probably the weakest. This isn't anywhere near genre defying as far as Metroids go, so don't expect that. But I mean in that this won't be amazing wowie kind to you, likely. Mostly if this is the first game of the saga you've played, like me. Tell you what though, art is stunning stunning. (2 stuns) Beautiful pixel art is my baby formula equivalent, as an adult. (You had to know that) And that's the strongest thing this game has. It's pretty simple how far as a metroid this game goes, if that makes sense. I don't think basic is the right word, more so a simple metroid. I don't remember many tracks, sadly. I don't like that most of the final area had no music as well. Difficulty is on the easier side, you'll majorly die to pits/spikes that one shot. shovel knight if you played that. Exploration is pretty fun. Gameplay is nice. I cant be too mean to the gameplay, and neither can I be too positive about it. Some bosses are kinda boring and some are a small treat. For some reason a priest is dressed like red riding hood. I'm not educated on priestess clothing much but I don't think you look like you're out for a picnic.
