Monument Valley is a puzzle and indie game by Ustwo Games. The player leads the princess Ida through mazes of optical illusions and impossible objects while manipulating the world around her to reach various platforms. Monument Valley was developed over ten months beginning in early 2013 based on concept drawings by company artist Ken Wong. Its visual style was inspired by Japanese prints, minimalist sculpture, and indie games Windosill, Fez, and Sword & Sworcery, and was compared by critics to M. C. Escher drawings and Echochrome. The art was designed such that each frame would be worthy of public display.

Runs well on modern hardware.

Nice relaxing puzzle game set in Escher-like environments with low hardware requirements. Next levels introduce new puzzle elements bringing new mechanics. Learn how to use the new puzzle elements. Using the puzzle elements, the perspective and the twisting paths changes.
not only is it cute and relaxing but also an incredibly well made puzzle game. manipulating the perspective is your road to success in this game and it will send you on quite the journey. once you get used to it the puzzle aspect almost disappears and the game turns into a smooth walk. at least until the next new mechanic requires you to think outside the box yet again. the game was finished and 100% completed after 2 1/2 hours and i had a real blast. it's pretty much a must-have if you have ANY interest in puzzle games! forward to my review of Monument Valley 2: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Meister_Leuchte/recommended/1927740
Steam Deck users rejoice this is a relaxing touch screen friendly game. Very accessible can be played with one finger but that finger must be able to touch with moderate motor control. You can tap many times without repercussion. The environment you are interacting with is quite small compared to the screen size.
